Dr. Benny Rieth develops DEIB strategic plans grounded in Indigenous ways of being and guided by the Five Rs—Relationships, Responsibility, Respect, Relevance, and Reciprocity—making the work tangible, human, and connected to daily practice. By centering shared ownership and clearly defining roles across the institution, Dr. Benny creates strong buy-in and a plan that teams are motivated to bring to life.

Shifting Perspectives On Campus Culture

Dr. Benny partnered with Kiel High School to strengthen connection, engagement, and belonging across the campus community. He delivered keynotes for educators, led interactive workshops, and worked directly with students, including their Student Government, to build skills, foster collaboration, and create a stronger sense of community. Using his Five Rs of Student Sense of Belonging framework, Dr. Benny helped the school assess its culture, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies that support both staff and students. Through storytelling, reflection, and hands-on activities, Kiel High School was able to create an environment where students and educators feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.
